Softube + Marshall: A Partnership Fused by Sound Quality
Softube's first-ever prototype was a hardware DSP box running a Marshall amp model and a loudspeaker model. Suffice it to say, that got Marshall’s attention. The relationship sparked by those humble beginnings has led to a successful, long-term partnership. Amp Room: Marshall Edition is stacked from here to high heaven with the only amps and cabs available in software form that are endorsed by Marshall.

Marshall Additions: The Higher the Stack the Closer to God-Status
The expertly emulated amplifiers and cabinets included in Amp Room: Marshall Edition will bring your guitar and bass tones to new heights. From the amazingly responsive Marshall Museum piece, Plexi Super Lead 1959, to the dark and smooth collector’s item, Silver Jubilee 2555, the amps in this edition grant you near-total mastery over the legendary Marshall Sound. The father of JCM800, Marshall JMP 2203, is the quintessential rock amp. Bluesbreaker Model 1962, one of the rarest and most expensive amps in the world, adds warmth and crunch in three dimensions. With eight special speaker cabinets versatile enough for any musical genre from vintage to modern in the mix, dominion over the heaven-sent sound of Marshall is all but complete.
What's included?
Marshall Plexi Super Lead 1959
There is perhaps no other amplifier more vital to the history of rock & roll than the Marshall Plexi Super Lead 1959. Softube took Marshall’s own museum-piece Plexi (a pristine model from 1967) under extremely careful security and supervision and modelled each and every component to produce the most textured, detailed software version imaginable. At any setting, it responds exactly like the hardware, and it’s sensitive to your playing style like you wouldn’t believe.

Description
Virtual Amp Designer
Your tone is your identity and sometimes nothing less than a custom setup can deliver the goods.
Create authentic and mind-blowing tones that can be tweaked and fully customized.
BIAS AMP 2 is the ultimate virtual amp designer, authentically recreating the tone and feel of real tube amplifiers, while allowing you to mix and match components to create your ideal amp. You can use Amp Match to clone the tone of real hardware or a guitar track, or connect to the ToneCloud® to gain access to thousands of custom amps from artists and recording studios, or upload your own custom tones to the cloud.
BIAS AMP 2 represents a revolution in virtual amplifier design, providing the tools to take your ultimate guitar tone with you anywhere, from the studio to the stage and back again.
What's New in Bias Amp 2 - Create the Amp of Your Dreams
Dynamic Tone Engine
![]()
For BIAS AMP 2 we worked with artists, engineers and recording studios to improve the already hyper-authentic touch response of our amplifier circuits. The result is a new playing experience, with increased touch responsiveness and dynamics. With new tubes, transformer, dynamic tone control and a completely redesigned speaker cabinet module with multi-mic capability, you now have the tools to take your tone explorations further than ever before!
Bias Meets Celestion
![]()
When it comes to speakers, Celestion is the most trusted name in the history of rock and roll. Their drivers have been used on more classic songs and tones than any other manufacturer, and their impulse responses are the favourites of guitarists ranging from Pete Thorn and Scott Henderson to George Lynch. We’ve partnered with Celestion to make their IR’s easier to use than ever before, so you can forget loading individual files! Just select a custom Celestion cab and start moving the mics around – BIAS AMP 2 does the rest.
Redesigned Amp Packs
![]()
Along with BIAS AMP’s built-in amp packs, BIAS AMP 2 adds two new amp packs that widen the sonic palette even further. Blues is all about gooey clean to mid-gain amps, and Bass brings amps and speaker cabs just for bass guitars. Add in all of the custom component options, and you have literally thousands of custom amps at your fingertips. There’s nothing else like it!

Lush Reverbs
BIAS AMP 2 also includes nine built-in reverbs, ranging from huge halls to intimate rooms with full control over the character of the reverbs. Between the different reverb types and the extensive filtering and saturation options, BIAS AMP 2 has all your reverb needs covered.
New Amp Match
AMP Match can already match the tone of any mic’d reference amp, but we’ve made it even better in BIAS AMP 2: now matching a tone is as easy as importing an audio file! Not only that, if you aren’t all that familiar with dialing amps yourself you can ask AMP Match to guess the circuit for you. You’ll get faster and better results no matter what your skill level is, making it even easier to get to your ideal tone.
Enhanced Authenticity
AMP Match utilizes a collection of underlying technologies to analyze and compare your currently selected BIAS amp model and the sound of a target tube amplifier, including the speaker cabinet and microphone. It then executes the tonal compensation and enhancements needed to make your amp model’s sound accurately match that of the target tube amplifier.
100 Amp Match Presets - Don't Sweat the Details
Even if you’re not interested in matching amps yourself, you can still take advantage of the power of AMP Match by connecting to the Positive Grid ToneCloud and enjoy 100 new custom AMP Match presets. There are thousands more from artists, recording studios and guitarists from around the world.
What’s New In Detail
New Tubes and Amp Packs
BIAS AMP 2 puts the focus on dynamic tube amp behaviour and feel, adding new tube types and Amp Packs and enabling thousands of new custom amp designs in the process.
The new preamp tubes are all about headroom: The new 12BH7 and 12AY7 tubes put out more gain before distortion than normal 12AX7’s, so they’re often used in bass and hi-fi amplifier designs where being both loud AND clean is super important. You’ll find that these new tubes give you more control over clean and mid-gain guitar tones, making it even easier to create dynamic sounds that break up at just the right time - or not at all.
The new power amp tubes complement the low and mid-gain focus, offering more clean power and more saturation control. A pair of the 6550 tubes puts out the same power as four EL34’s, so they have more headroom at lower master volume levels. The new KT88’s have a similar midrange to EL34’s but the bass and treble frequencies extend lower and higher, making them ideal for slamming bass and hyper-clean guitar sounds.
BIAS AMP 2 also features two new amp packs, widening the palette of available tones and options. The Blues Pack was inspired by some of the best clean and mid-gain amps on the planet, offering increased touch-dynamics and a wide range of amp drive, while the Bass Pack was designed just for bass guitars, adding a host of studio quality bass sounds with zero tweaking needed.
The new tube types and amp packs offer a host of new dynamic possibilities, giving guitarists and bassists access to a huge new library of available tones and delivering sonic inspiration with every twist of a knob.
New Transformer With “Dynamic Tone Control”
The power supplies and transformers in tube amps do more than simply provide voltage to tubes and amplify signals - they affect the frequency response of the amp in fundamental and dynamic ways. We spent a large amount of time re-examining this behavior for BIAS AMP 2, and we came up with a new circuit we’ve added to the transformer module we call the Dynamic Tone Control. The DTC is a variable circuit that emulates the dynamic effect that power supplies and transformers have on the upper midrange response, and it can be really effective in adjusting the way the amp feels. The DTC can be magic on certain kinds of brash tones, so if you have a sound you love but it’s aggressive or brash in a way you can’t seem to control with EQ or circuit tweaking, try raising the DTC control. Higher values enhance the effect.
New Speaker IR’s From Celestion, And New Speaker Cabinet Module
For BIAS AMP 2 we partnered with Celestion, the king of speaker manufacturers, to give users access to the favourite impulse responses of top guitarists like Pete Thorn, Scott Henderson and George Lynch. Normal IR packs come with a mountain of files that are auditioned by loading them individually, but you can do all that work in BIAS AMP 2 simply by moving the virtual microphone on the speaker cabinet around. It makes using Celestion IR’s easier than on any other platform, and it’s not just a major time saver, it also allows you to stay in the creative mindset longer.
Studio engineers started recording guitar amps using multiple microphones as soon as they had the capability, and many Hall Of Fame guitar sounds were recorded using this technique. We’ve added this functionality to BIAS AMP 2, letting you use multiple microphones on the same cab and mix them together! Layering a dynamic 57 pointed at the dust cap (which picks up a ton of crispy treble and deep bass) with a 414 condenser aimed in between the dust cap and the speaker edge (which has less treble and more mids) results in a tone that is rounder and more full than either of those mics could produce by themselves. Now you can pull a solo out above the vocals or tuck a rhythm part behind the bass guitar just by tweaking the mic mixer.
The cabinet module also features brand new Open and Closed-back cabinet emulation, authentically recreating the distinctive bass and low mid frequency response that typifies each enclosure style. As a result, you have even more control over your core tone, allowing you to get even closer to iconic sounds with less effort.
New RTA EQ
Even though our ears are the most valuable tools we have when creating tones, sometimes it’s really helpful to be able to look at a tone visually. The new RTA EQ module displays a realtime frequency analysis of the signal running through it, making it easy to spot a problem frequency range or see what affect your circuit tweaks are having on the overall guitar sound. You won’t have to ask yourself “what is the frequency of that low midrange bump I’m hearing?”, because the RTA EQ will show it to you, allowing you to tame it quickly and easily.
100 New Custom Amps On ToneCloud®
BIAS AMP 2 now comes with 100 new custom amps from a wide variety of musical styles and genres!!
Don’t forget that you’re NEVER limited to a “stock” amp with BIAS AMP 2. AmpLion 2 Rock Essentials

Description

Make Your Guitar Roar
Get incredibly sounding rock tones from three exceptionally modelled amps in a new generation of Audified's AmpLion software.
A complete revamp of Audified's long-standing AmpLion Pro guitar software. Now with much more detailed models, new features, and totally re-designed GUI. A gear collection based exclusively on absolute rock staples!
On the Shoulders of a Lion
Audified have come a long way since designing the very first AmpLion plug-in in 2011. For the new version, they have opted for a completely new product philosophy. The one of efficiency, larger than life guitar sounds, and guitarist-friendly workflow. AmpLion 2 Rock Essentials gets you three legendary amp models, four cabinets, fifteen stompboxes, ten microphones, all recreated as detailed plug-in models using state of the art component modelling.
Overview
- Easy tone-finder. Turn it on, and play!
- Ultra-dynamic feel under your hands
- Proprietary Hiss Gate and Noise Gate algorithms
- Human-like Double Track function
- Popular & custom gear modifications
- Super accurate low-latency cabinet models
The New Engine Behind the Incredible Sound
Audified combined their proprietary research with the latest trends in the scientific community, took the best of both to design Audified's new real-time nonlinear dynamic circuit equations solver, and use it as the basis for all circuitry inside the AmpLion 2.
The power amplifier section uses the loudspeaker impedance model as a load to replicate the interaction between the power amp tubes, output transformer, loudspeaker, and power amp feedback.
The modulation and analogue delay effects use the bucket-brigade delay model with an exact number of buckets and virtual clock rate instead of a simple delay, adding a small amount of aliasing to the output sound - this can be heard as a typical ringing sound.
The models, including the cabinets, are latency-free, and you get an immediate response while playing. To achieve the same phasing between Cab A and B as you would experience in a real-life recording situation, Audified added a small additional delay equal to the time the sound, travelling from the loudspeaker, needs to reach the microphone membrane. There are no internal IRs in the cabinet section, these are all real-time cabinet models!
Amplifier Models & Features
![]()
Martial 59
The real rock legend! Without this type of amp, Rock 'N' Roll would not exist. The four channels of the model deliver the traditional four input configuration. The Parallel channel is the key to your classic screaming rock sounds, and it is the equivalent of chaining the Normal and Bright channels together. There are also Master volume and Pushed mode options. Switch to the rear panel to discover the revision switch - SLP/HW, Brown sound switch, and Ohm selection (yes, it makes a difference :)
Jukebox 30
What a versatile amp design! This purple beast delivers a rich classic rock tonal spectrum, and it is a perfect complement to the first two. The Normal channel is one of the best platforms for using treble boosters (hint: There are two models included). The switchable Tremolo and Reverb features are a must, as well as the Tone Cut. On the rear panel, you get the Voicing and Custom EQ options. Plus, there is a Bright switch for the normal channel, too.
Bartender Delux 65
Meet the low-wattage spanky amp of choice for many players across genres - from traditional country to alternative indie rock. Don't be fooled by the size! Despite not having much headroom, this amp is a monster. Choose between the two main channels, each having the Low and High input option, and on the rear panel, discover the added Pushed mode. While the Vibrato channel is engaged, enjoy the hyperreal spring reverb and the famous lush or choppy vibrato.
Rear Panel Mod Functions
With AmpLion 2 Rock Essentials, you get the amps modelled after their legendary ancestors as they come stock, as well as specific tweaks, fan-favourite mods, version revisions, or Audified's custom modification ideas. Most of the time, these are located at the rear panel of the model. Are you eager to try something new with your favourite amp model? Take a look there!
Cabinet Models & Features
![]()
Martial 412 GB & 412 G12A
These two cabinets are the perfect match for the Martial 59 model. Nevertheless, they sound great with every amp model included. They are your classic 4x12" half-stack basis. Martial 412 GB is fuller in bass response and rather scooped in mids. Whether Martial 412 G12A is more focused on mids and tighter. For the most fun possible, combine them in stereo or in the Double Track mode.
Bartender 112 J
The sound of the classic 1x12" combo and a J-style speaker. It is a matching cabinet to the Bartender DeLux 65 amp model. This little beast is capable of many things. Try pairing it with the other amps, too. You may be amazed by what it can do. The small box often means tightness and low-end focus.
Jukebox 212 GB
One of the most classic open-back 2x12". Those green speakers likely co-formed the whole rock movement. This cabinet matches Jukebox 30 amp, but you can definitely use it with the other two as well. It is heavenly for clean to crunchy sounds, and it can handle what you throw at it. Desert island cabinet for many, indeed. When you are about to impress the queen, use two of them! :)
Dual or Single Cabinet Option
AmpLion 2 provides vast options regarding cabinet use. E.g., select only one cabinet to be active and pan the mic across the stereo field. Or blend two cabinets and leave the Pan in the centre. Or use two cabinets and mics, and pan them, e.g., hard left and hard right. For even different results, try the Double Track feature.
Stompbox Model & Features
![]()
Fifteen All-New Models
Building upon Audified's virtual stompbox history with DSound Stomp’n FX and MultiDrive Pedal Pro, AmpLion 2 Rock Essentials delivers a new and redesigned set of stompbox models. Including not so widely modelled effects such as famous treble-boosters of the 60s and 70s. Some pedal models also feature favourite user mods or "nice to have" options.
Drives & Wah
Included drive models are: 808 IceScream, O-Drive 1, Distortion Puls, MeltedFace Fuzz, Corny T-Boost, Ravemaster T-Boost. Plus, there is a Jukebox Wah 84 - a very versatile wah model for all your crazy wah-offs!
Pre & Post Effects Board
Many effect pedals react very differently depending on where they are placed in regards to the amplifier. In AmpLion 2, you can use two pedalboards. One is located before the amplifier and one after the whole rig. Drive pedals and Wah are available only before the amp, and DigiDelay and DigiVerb are available only after the rig. Together with both EQs, they do wonders when finalizing your tone.
Modulation Effects
Based on iconic modulation stompboxes from the 1970s onward, featured models are Mrs. Flanger, Stoner Phaser, Cloned Chorus. Please note: Sending messages in bottles works with these! ;)
Delays & Reverb
The highlight here is the Memorized Delay. It was modelled after a legendary unit and spiced-up with an added Tap tempo. There is also Audified's own DigiDelay, which sports advanced options such as LR ping pong, Double mode, or a Color function. Last, but not least is the DigiVerb. A great utility solution for extending the spatial perception of the amp's own reverbs.
Equalisers
Choose from Audified's two proprietary stompbox equalizers - GraphEQ and ParaEQ, depending on your workflow and preferences.
Mic Models and Features
![]()
Ten Industry Standard Microphones
AmpLion 2 features key fan-favourite mic models for amp & cab recording and re-amping. They are 57 Legend, 906 S-Cube, 421 Sensei, 7B Podcaster, 121 Rodger, 414 OMG, 87 Oldman, 451 Pencil, 5i Audition, plus a special Flat response microphone. For maximal tonal variability, use different mics with different cabinets and experiment with their positions.
Advanced Panning and Level Options
When you select your favourite mic combination, feel free to play more with the Pan and Level features. You can blend two mics onto one another when leaving them in the centre or fully enjoy the stereo possibilities, both with single or dual cabinet options. Please note that the Double Track function and hard panning present differently sounding results.
Positions Based on Real Science
Each mic model included is based on thorough and repeated measurements in an anechoic chamber. Things your ears hear in real life during guitar recording may be often misleading. They depend on the many variables and the context itself, but the physics and acoustics measurements represent what truly happens.
Adjustable Mic Function
While Position and Distance are self-explanatory, AmpLion 2 sports the Mic angle function, too. This feature enables you to try many different miking techniques. Its range spans from 0 degrees to 75 degrees. 0 degrees is the default position and it means the mic is perpendicular to the cabinet grill cloth.
Utility Features
Intuitive Page-Based Layout
For easy signal flow navigation, AmpLion 2 is divided into four pages. Each page is engageable separately using its Power button.
Advanced Noise Gate Function
Audified's Noise gate algorithm is very thoroughly pre-tuned to help you eliminate noise even when using very high gain. All you have to do is to choose how strongly it will react. Both Hiss Gate and Noise Gate are based on envelope tracking for both signal level and signal frequency bandwidth with automated release time to work both for palm muting and playing solo with the same settings.
Automated Double-Track Option
Try Audified's new Double Track function. It will automatically create the illusion of double-tracked stereo guitars, with a natural chorus-like widening included. The double-tracked signal is not a pure time-delayed replica of the original signal, but it has random and signal-dependent changes in delay, pitch, level, and attack.
Proprietary Hiss Gate Function
Noise and hiss can sometimes be caused by different things. Audified's new Hiss gate is amazing for eliminating subtle pickup noises, amongst other things, and it does not affect your playing in any dynamic way.

- Load studio FX from Softube, Tube-Tech, and Trident, amps and cabs from Marshall, and more.
- Mix and match modules to create complex patches and shape the sound you want.
Imagine being in a luxury, professional studio full of vintage gear including legendary compressors and EQs, classic Marshall amps and cabinets, pedals, and mics and being offered anything you need to configure exactly how you want it to produce the very best guitar tones.
Built on Softube's legacy of modelling analogue gear with unmatched accuracy, Amp Room is the modern platform designed with the discerning professionals in mind to be a continuously growing pro audio system of everything you need to create high-quality, authentic, and incredibly realistic guitar and bass sounds.
As the producer with all that gear at hand, you’re the master of puppets, mixing and matching all the gear you need to create mix-ready tones just like you do in a physical studio. You can also process other sound sources, such as drums, vocals, and synth tracks. All the gear you chose from your visit to that luxury studio is configured to your exact specifications and ready to use.
The Pro Audio Guitar & Bass Platform: Designed by Experts, Built on Legacy
Softube has a long history of modelling professional gear. After nearly two decades working in collaboration with premium pro audio brands like Tube-Tech, Solid State Logic, Chandler Limited®, Weiss Engineering, Trident, and more, Softube have a solid track record recreating indisputable classics in software form that sound precisely like their hardware counterparts. Amp Room is built on this legacy, and Softube took the same meticulous approach they take whenever they model a legendary compressor or equalizer used by, say, The Beatles – everything needs to be exact, component by component. Nothing less.
An Infinitely Expandable Platform
Amp Room is a living platform and ecosystem, with more compatible expansions and plug-ins added all the time. The Marshall Cabinet Collection is an expansion pack made exclusively for Amp Room that is available to purchase right now, and there are more to come.
A selection of Softube studio FX, like American Class A (included as two separate modules), Tube-Tech CL 1B, Trident A-Range EQ, and Tape, are Amp Room Ready and can be loaded as modules right now. Eventually, more and more Softube plug-ins that can be used to create guitar and bass sounds will be available to use in Amp Room.
All Softube amplifier plug-ins, such as Marshall Plexi Super Lead 1959 and Eden WT800, can be loaded in Amp Room with heads and cabinets as separate modules, so if you already own these plug-ins, yes, you can use them with Amp Room. More new amps, pedals, cabs and plug-ins as modules will be added to the platform over time, making Amp Room an even more versatile and powerful pro audio tool.
Stunning Sound Quality
A modular guitar and bass platform designed with sound quality as top priority, Amp Room is for the connoisseur who can tell the difference between good sounds and great sounds. It’s just like having a real amplifier with a miked-up speaker cabinet in a high-end studio–with the added convenience of more options to patch in any kind of studio tool a producer might need anywhere in the chain. Everything will come together, no hard day’s night required.
Realistic Amp Sounds through Careful Modeling
Softube's not known as the Rock & Roll scientists by accident–Softube has been emulating guitar amps from the beginning. In fact, Softube very first project was sticking probes into a Marshall JCM800 guitar amplifier to develop a new method of making digital emulations of analogue audio equipment. Softube felt sure that the existing digital models could be vastly improved, and they were right. Just like everything that Softube models, each Amp Room amp was meticulously component modelled, A/B tested against its physical counterpart and fine-tuned to sound exactly like the original or even better in terms of clarity.
Endless Possibilities
Amp Room comes with 6 amplifiers, 16 cabinets, 10 effects pedals, 3 studio effects, 8 utility modules, and 260 presets covering a wide variety of styles and genres. Not only that, you can also load a selection of Softube plug-ins, like compressors and equalizers, as modules. Customizable, flexible, and as simple or complex as you need it to be. Add expansion packs and create your personal digital studio with everything you need to create high-quality, incredibly realistic guitar sounds, exactly the way you want them.
Authentic Marshall Gear
Amp Room includes legendary Marshall gear modelled as software in partnership with Marshall. Softube has a long history of collaborating with Marshall to produce the highest quality guitar amp models, and Amp Room comes with the only gear in software form that is officially licensed and endorsed by Marshall.
What's included?
As a platform built for pro audio, Amp Room is the best sounding and most flexible and powerful guitar and bass tool available, suitable for any style and genre of music. It comes loaded with a wide variety of amplifiers, cabinets, pedals, studio effects, and utility tools. Let’s break that down.
Amps
One of the guitar amps is the Marshall JCM800, a classic from 1981 that embodies the essence of the Marshall sound. Other amps include a 1964 model that’s great for British Invasion tones, a 1966 version of a classic American combo amplifier that’s made for semi-dirty blues riffs, a German high-gain amp designed for metal, and a late 70s bass amp that’s perfect for classic rock. There’s also a custom DI direct input that adds direct injection functionality so you can blend the bass amp with an unprocessed bass track.
![]()
Cabs
The cabs include several 1960 Marshall models for rock and metal guitar and bass. Whether you want a bright and focused sound with weight and punch, lots of vintage character, tightness with a percussive mid-punch, or as much bass as you could possibly need while maintaining clarity and definition in the high mids, Amp Room has you covered with a wide variety of options from which to quickly achieve a great sound.
![]()
Pedals
The pedals are expertly designed by Softube as emulations of specific pedals or combinations of the best ones. There’s an overdrive pedal for rock and blues guitar, a reverb pedal for epic and almost infinite perturbations, an equalizer to give your sound a little more sparkle, a compressor for a funkier sound, a chorus pedal for 80s vibes, the Marshall Guv’nor pedal for heavy, distorted tones, a delay pedal to add rhythmic effects in musical arrangements, and more.
![]()
Mics & Options
All cabs have at least one mic that you can move around during any stage of the creative process. In some cab modules, you can move the mics anywhere, while in others, they have fixed positions with various combinations. For cabs with two microphones, there’s a mix slider that allows you to set the balance between the two and a continuous width fader that sets the overall stereo image. The cabs with Revisited in their names have been recorded with several mics so that you can select any single mic or combination that gives you the sound you want.
![]()
Studio FX
Amp Room is also compatible with a selection of Amp Room ready plug-ins that can be loaded as modules. One of them is the punchy American Class A channel strip included as two modules – a compressor and an equalizer. There are many other options available too, including Tape, Tube-Tech CL 1B, and more.
![]()
Utility modules
The utility modules included in Amp Room allow you to filter, adjust gain, mute, adjust the volume or pan, phase align between parallel signal paths, or frequency split signals in a path.
![]()
Navigation Bar
When you start up Amp Room on a new track, the Gear Tab will be open and any Softube plug-ins you own that are Amp Room-ready will show up here.
The Gate helps you control excessive noise. Try using this if you have an annoying noise or humming sound when you want things to be quiet.
Some pedals, effects and amplifiers impact the overall dynamics and transients of a sound. If you want to restore the original dynamics, DTC™ (Dynamic Transient Control) can magically bring those transients back to remove harshness and restore tightness and clarity.
Headphones Mode adds subtle room ambience in stereo when you’re working with headphones. If you choose Left or Right when using stereo in Amp Room, you can create stereo effects from your mono source.
Use the Split panel when creating more than one path in the signal chain to process two frequency ranges of an instrument differently and use the Mix panel to combine the two signal paths into one stereo output.
Adjust the amount of zoom you want with the Zoom control.

Softube & Marshall: A Partnership Based on Sound Quality
Softube’s first prototype was a hardware DSP box running a Marshall amp model and a loudspeaker model. This attracted Marshall’s interest and led to a successful long-term partnership between Softube and Marshall. Softube is Marshall’s exclusive software partner, and Amp Room comes with the only amps and cabs available in software form that are officially licensed and endorsed by Marshall.

Amplify Your Guitar and Bass to Perfection.
- The pro-audio guitar and bass platform: designed for the producer, sounds exactly like real amps in high-end studios miked up with professional gear.
Studio FX
Amp Room is also compatible with a selection of Amp Room ready plug-ins that can be loaded as modules. One of them is the punchy American Class A channel strip included as two modules – a compressor and an equalizer. There are many other options available too, including Tape, Tube-Tech CL 1B, and more.
Utility modules
The utility modules included in Amp Room allow you to filter, adjust gain, mute, adjust the volume or pan, phase align between parallel signal paths, or frequency split signals in a path.

MRotary
Amp Simulator by MeldaProduction
Images
Description
MRotary is the ultimate rotary simulator, which can deliver not only the great vintage sound, but also futuristic algorithmic sound featuring up to 6 speakers at once. You can design your own cabinet using any material from wood to glass, process the rotary signal using fully featured dynamic equalizer and much more.
2 Algorithms with Up to 6 Speakers
MRotary may sound like the real thing, but it can be very surreal as well, or futuristic if you wish. There are 2 algorithms available - first the simulator algorithm based on the Leslie® cabinets, and second the purely mathematical algorithm. You can choose or morph between both. You can even use a different one for each of the speakers and you can have 6 of them in a single cabinet!
Unique Material Based Cabinet Simulator
The cabinet simulator in MRotary doesn't just give you a few prerecorded models the usual simulators do. Instead it lets you choose properties of the cabinet - its size and material, placement of the microphones and more. You can design a cabinet from wood, steel, even textile. You can even make different parts of the cabine from a different material...
Fully Featured Dynamic Equalizer
MRotary even provides a true dynamic equalizer borrowed from MAutoDynamicEq, so you can not adjust the bass and treble to your liking, but thanks to its dynamic engine you can for example enhance the stereo width by expanding dynamic range of each channel. Sounds tricky? Not at all, just drag a band's vertical node up...
High Quality Amp
Part of the typical organ sound is the analog distortion, which MRotary emulates with pristine accuracy. Well, not only that, you can bring in some more hardcore digital distortion and the available drive levels are of course much higher than in the original, courtesy of digital processing!
Modulation Heaven
Looking for a little extra variation in your sound? Maybe you want the rotary to switch from slow to fast and back automatically, or you want more distortion when you play louder? This and much more can be easily made true using our incredible modulators.

MCabinet
Amp Simulator by MeldaProduction
Images
Description
MCabinet is a revolutionary cabinet simulator mainly for guitars and bass, but can be a great creative sound design tool as well. Instead of thousands of IR files it lets you focus on the sound itself and gets you a virtually infinite number of cabinets!
Great Sound, Simple Controls, Creative Results
A cabinet is an essential part of the guitar sound. Professional guitarists are usually either using physical cabinets, or bought thousands of impulse response files of these cabinets. In either case it is an extremely clumsy hit and miss process.
MCabinet is based on statistical analysis of these real cabinets. It lets you start with a profile of thousands of these IRs and start being creative from there. It provides 4 so-called resonators, which can give your new cabinet a unique tonal or resonant character, and 2 wideners, which provide a natural stereo widening and potentially a little ambience. Finally MCabinet lets you post-process your new cabinet using simple knobs such as flattening or tilt. And there's a dynamic equalizer as a cherry on top, just in case.
Exporting IR is a Piece of Cake
Just in case you want to use your new cabinet using a HW amp simulator, which allows loading an IR file, MCabinet can do that with a few clicks.
How about some creative sound design?
MCabinet is mainly designed for guitar and bass cabinets, but it can actually work with just about any kind of sound. You can analyze a profile of any set of samples and see where it gets you. Or you can use a flat profile and exploit the resonators and wideners on any audio you want. It's the creativity that matters these days!
MeldaProduction Goodies
As always you'll find the standard MeldaProduction features: 16x upsampling, M/S, surround support as well as other channel modes, AGC, A-H presets for easy comparisons, and our easy to use integrated help system.

Marshall Plexi Super Lead 1959
Amp Simulator by Softube
Images
Description
A classic from Marshall’s museum.
-
Extreme Sound Quality and Authenticity: Component-modeled for the most accurate possible recreation of Marshall's own reference unit.
-
AC/DC's own Engineer: Cabinet responses recorded at Kore Studio, London, with mic selections and positions by AC/DC engineer Tony Platt (Highway to Hell, Back in Black).
-
The Guitar Hero's Choice: Angus Young, Jimmy Page, Graham Coxon, Johnny Ramone, John Frusciante, Slash, Pete Townshend, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix – they all used a Plexi Super Lead.
The History of Rock & Roll
The Plexi’s design was essentially commissioned by Pete Townshend of The Who, looking for more power, volume, and grunt as true high-voltage rock began to explode in the mid ’60s. Eric Clapton traded in his ‘Bluesbreaker’ combo for a Super Lead when he founded Cream in 1966. Jimi Hendrix, for goodness sake, played a Super Lead at Woodstock.
The first Marshall full stack was created for the Plexi. Initially, the super-powerful, 100-watt amp was paired with a huge 8x12 speaker cabinet, but soon the preference shifted to two 4x12s, one straight and one angled. It’s hard to overstate how much of a cornerstone this amp is. Rock simply wouldn’t look or sound the same without it.
![]()
Your Own Personal Legendary Engineer
Softube retained the services of Tony Platt, engineer for AC/DC on some of the most face-meltingly rocktastic albums of all time, to capture impulse responses from a perfect era-appropriate 1960BHW cabinet with a variety of expertly placed vintage microphones. Nothing comes close to the mix-ready magic of these sounds. They've built a world-class engineer, who knows the amp like an old friend, right into the plug-in.
![]()
The Channel Strip
In addition to the amp itself, the plug-in provides a complete setup and workflow for getting mix-ready sounds. Three different microphone combos – FET, Valve, and Dynamic – were recorded by Platt at Kore Studios in London, and the results can be blended and tweaked in the side panel of the plug-in.
Each microphone has its own volume and pan settings, just as you'd expect from working in a top-class studio, so you can mix your own ideal sound right there in the plug-in. This is more than just an amp sim. It's a complete workflow for an amazing mix-ready guitar tone.

Detailed and Versatile Tone
Two channels, a lead and a rhythm, each with both high and low gain inputs, can be combined (or 'jumped') for a wide-range of sounds. Go from a warm, gritty twang right up to a searing wailing rock god solo scream, and never let The Man stand in your way.
Angus Young played one in AC/DC. Jimmy Page played one in Led Zeppelin. Graham Coxon, Johnny Ramone, John Frusciante, Slash. The versatility of the 1959 (‘1959’, by the way, being a model number rather than a production year), and the ease with which it produces fantastic harmonically rich sounds, defined a genre and a movement.
Don’t compromise with lesser rigs. Don’t put up with pretenders. Get the one and only Plexi Super Lead 1959, and ground your tone in pure rock.

Marshall Kerry King Signature
Amp Simulator by Softube
Images
Description
Release The Beast.
Thrash metal is visceral, energetic, aggressive. Getting the right depth and texture of sound, the right bite in the attack, the right snarl on the tail, is essential. You need an amp like a wild animal, like a fighter, like a beast.
Kerry King has spent four decades at the vanguard of the scene, blazing trails and busting guts with his edgy in-your-face sound, so naturally his signature amp – the custom Marshall 2203KK, a.k.a. “The Beast” – is the only place to start if you’re after super high gain and punchy articulation in a single rig.
-
Beast Mode: "Beast Mode" engages Kerry's own signature EQ-boost-and-gate combo for an extra million percent of awesome.
-
Expert Engineers: Softube brought in Kerry's own engineers, Terry Date for studio setups, and Chris Paccou for live, to give the most authentic, mix-ready version of Kerry's sound possible.
-
Component-modelled for Perfection: Close enough is not good enough for Kerry, for Marshall, or for Softube. So they go component-by-component to build the most detailed software models possible.
More than an Amp
Signature amps are nothing new – this plug-in is a model of the custom hardware Kerry King signature amp from Marshall, closely recreating Kerry's very own unit with all its quirks and special sauce. What's extra-special about this plug-in is the detail beyond the amp itself – down to the cab, the microphones, the engineers, the spaces, Softube have built a complete mix-ready workflow.
![]()
The amp’s four KT88 power stage tubes have been expertly modelled, along with every other individual component of this premium hand-wired unit, to give the most accurate software emulation imaginable. But that’s only the beginning of the signature experience.
Top Experts in Thrash Tone
Softube recorded impulse responses from Kerry’s own Marshall Mode Four 4x12” cabinets (featuring Celestion G12-100K 12” speakers) at the famous Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles with multiple professional mic selections and placements designed by iconic producer/engineer Terry Date, famous for his work with Deftones, Pantera, Dream Theater, and Overkill. So down to the cab, the room, the microphones, you’re getting all the top-quality studio sound of a mix-ready thrash setup.
On top of that, they visited with Kerry at a stadium show in Stockholm in 2019 to capture his on-stage live setup too, overseen by FoH engineer Chris Paccou. There’s huge variety in this plug-in, and yet at every setting, it sounds phenomenal; curated by the world’s leading engineers in these tones.

The Kerry King Cabs Panel
In addition to the amp itself, the plug-in provides a complete setup and workflow for getting mix-ready sounds. Both studio and live setups are represented in the side panel with cabs and microphones recorded in real-world situations for the greatest depth and authenticity of sound.
You can take the recommendations of Terry Date, engineer for some of the greatest bands in the history of heavy music, or tweak and combine them in the 'custom' section, with a channel for each specific microphone placement offering pan, volume, and phase. Explore every fantastic facet of this amp's sound.

The Real Thing
Making great music requires a mix of hard work and inspiration. Softube have done a ton of hard work on this plug-in so you can get inspired by using the very same gear as a verifiable colossus of the thrash metal scene.
So whether you’re engaging “Beast Mode” and smashing a stadium with Kerry’s own signature EQ-boost-and-gate combo, or laying down gutsy layers in the studio, you can rely on the Softube Marshall Kerry King Signature amp to get you sounding bigger, better, and beastlier than any mere human should.

Blue Cat's Re-Guitar
Amp Simulator by Blue Cat Audio
Images
Description
Welcome to the world of "Re-Guitaring": enjoy an infinite number of guitar tones out of a single instrument!
With Re-Guitar, you can emulate many kinds of guitar tones (electric or acoustic), regardless of the solid body guitar model used for recording: keep playing your own guitar and get all the sounds that you like, and more!
The built-in pickup simulator lets you emulate many types of electric guitar pickups without the need to modify your favorite instrument: choose from a selection of popular guitar pickups or create your own.
You can also dig and expand the body "in the box" to craft your own hollow body guitar tone thanks to the body simulator.
The plug-in includes a selection of acoustic guitar simulations, and you can craft your own too.
In addition to the brightness and gain adjustments, the virtual tone and volume pots let you tweak the tone in details. They can even be automated to follow the performance.
If you do not play guitar but are producing music with recorded guitars, you will enjoy "re-guitaring" too: you can now "fix it in the mix" and virtually switch guitars after recording!

Eden WT800
Amp Simulator by Softube
Images
Description
World Tour sound in your studio
There are a handful of classic names in bass guitar amplification, but few have the combination of pedigree and sheer modern versatility that comes with the Eden WT800. Featuring a full range of tools from compression and 5-band EQ, to easy bi-amping and an ‘enhance’ knob for quick and effective scooping of mid-frequencies, the ‘World Tour’ amp really can do it all, around the globe.
Innumerable pro players, including Mike Rutherford of Genesis and Mike Gordon of Phish, have come to treat this amp as essential. It’s great for the grungey dirty vintage sounds, of course, but for the heft and clarity required by modern hip-hop, R&B, pop, metal, and jazz, there aren’t many that can compete.
Our plug-in is fully endorsed and authenticated by Eden and features physical modelling of two of their best-loved cabinets, a 1x15 and a 4x10, each miked with four different high-end classic microphones, selected and positioned by Troy Antunes, producer and bassist famous for his work with Pharrell Williams and Justin Timberlake.
And with a three-channel mixer section, you can blend the two cabs with the direct signal to find just about anything you could ever want to hear.
With a far more sophisticated EQ than many competitors, a built-in compressor, and a specially designed and optimised ‘enhance’ knob, which boosts the high and low frequencies while cutting the mids for that ultra-modern ‘scooped’ smiley-face sound, the WT800 represents the best-of-the-best, in sound quality and versatility alike.

- Replaces IR loaders for guitar and bass sounds.
- Created in collaboration with and officially licensed by Celestion.
- Two versions included: Celestion Speaker Shaper native plugin and Celestion Speaker Shaper for Amp Room.
Speaker manufacturer Celestion is on the eve of its 100th anniversary. You don’t just luck into that kind of longevity. It has since become a famed pro audio brand in its own right as the manufacturer of world-renowned guitar and bass speakers.
Now, Celestion's high-quality speakers for guitar and bass are available in an easy-to-use, insanely creative plug-in: Celestion Speaker Shaper. Celestion Speaker Shaper replaces the need for Impulse Response loaders by enabling you to set up two cabinets in parallel and independently adjust specs for, well, just about everything. There is a multitude of permutations to discover. Tweak your favourite speakers or bring your dream rig to life. Either way, Celestion Speaker Shaper will blow you away.
The Art of Rock & Roll Science
Softube has a long history modelling professional gear. Softube's collaboration with premium pro audio brands like Marshall, Tube-Tech, Chandler Limited ®, and Empirical Labs spans almost two decades. When it comes to creating software that sounds precisely like the hardware equivalent, Softube's reputation is rock solid.
This legacy is the foundation of Celestion Speaker Shaper. When creating it, Softube took the exacting approach they have become known for: expert modelling, precise testing, and careful fine-tuning. Because to create software that is equal to the original gear and innovates upon it, everything must be perfect. Nothing less.

Then tweak parameters like speaker break-up, ohms, magnet type and strength, open versus closed cabinets, room sounds, 4-band EQ, and more. Celestion Speaker Shaper can make both natural and fantastical sound transformations a reality.

Creative use of Speaker Shaper on synths, vocals, and drums can lead to some unexpected and truly wonderful sonic places.

The legends Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page used the Super Bass 100W, but Lemmy made it legendary. Now, this rare rig is available for the first time in plugin form as a Softube exclusive. The Art of Rock & Roll Science - Sound Quality
Softube has a long history modelling professional gear. Softub'es collaboration with premium pro audio brands like Marshall, Tube-Tech, Chandler Limited®, and Empirical Lab s has spanned nearly two decades. When it comes to creating software that sounds precisely like the hardware counterparts, their reputation is rock solid.
This legacy is the foundation of Marshall Murder One Lemmy Signature. When creating it, Softube took the exacting approach they have become known for: expert modelling, precise testing, and careful fine-tuning. Because to create software that is equal to or greater than the original gear, everything must be perfect. Nothing less.

Born to Raise Hell
This time, when Softube set out to make modelling magic with Marshall, they had a bass amp in mind. What they got with Murder One is a deeply soulful Frankenstein's monster. Not only did the rare tone of Lemmy's Super Bass 100W help build the legendary band Motörhead, but it laid the foundation for Metallica and every other group in the genre. Murder One gives you a workflow that is set up just like Lemmy’s rig. It's his amp, his cabs, his long-time producer, and his preferred studio. Murder One is uncompromising - just like the man himself.
![]()
Louder Than Noise
The Marshall Super Bass 100W is one of the most - coveted and hard-to-get amps in existence. Over the years, bass and guitar players alike have made it their amp of choice. It's warm, musically sweet, and, often, deafeningly loud. Murder One accurately captures both the roar and the responsiveness. You get the true character and features of the cult-classic amp in one ace plug-in for both bass and guitar.
![]()
Rock Out
At his Maple Sound Studios in California, Motörhead's Grammy Award-winning producer Cameron Webb captured the precise cabinet setup Lemmy used in-house and on the road: a Marshall MF280L 4x12 ′′ and a Marshall 1979L 4x15 ′′. Murder One’s faders each represent a cabinet and the microphone selectors for the cabinets. You can blow out your guitar tones with the oversized 4x15 ′′ cab. Or mix and match microphones for the perfect setup.
![]()
Built for Speed
Marshall Murder One Lemmy Signature features numerous presets to help you quickly draw the heavy tones you crave. Long-time Motörhead producer Cameron Webb created several presets based on Lemmy’s tones so you can dial up the larger-than-life sound instantly. No matter which preset you use, Murder One will give you vicious bass and guitar tones for your rock & roll and punk rock projects.
![]()
Thunder and Lightning
Murder One is flush with value and versatility for Amp Room, the pro guitar and bass platform. It offers Lemmy’s Marshall Super Bass 10 0 W amp and his unique cabinet section in two separate modules. With the presets for Amp Room, you can dial up Lemmy vibes without fuss. Or, go rogue. Use the amp for guitar or bass - and then combine it with pedals or effects to get the precise rock & roll and punk rock tones you’re after.
What’s included?
Marshall Murder One Lemmy Signature Native
A 1:1 component model of his Marshall Super Bass 100W, with his one-of-a-kind cabinet setup captured by long-time Motörhead producer Cameron Webb, Murder One is the genuine sound of Lemmy Kilmister. Use it as a native plugin in your DAW to get the big, fat, gritty rock & roll and punk rock sounds that Lemmy and Motörhead made famous.
Marshall Murder One Lemmy Signature for Amp Room
The two Murder One modules available for Sotube's pro guitar and bass platform, Amp Room, are a winning pair - to say the least. With one module for Lemmy's Super Bass 100W amp and another that features his unique cabinet section, you'll be more than ready to make some nasty guitar and bass tones for rock & roll and punk rock.

The Ace of Amps
- The authentic rock & roll and punk rock sounds of Motörhead's Lemmy Kilmister for bass and guitar.
- A precise model of Lemmy’s famous Marshall Super Bass 100W, affectionately called Murder One.
- Lemmy’s rare cabinet setup was captured by long-time Motörhead producer Cameron Webb.
- Two versions included: Marshall Murder One Lemmy Signature and Marshall Murder One Lemmy Signature for Amp Room.
Conjure up Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister. Do you see him? Bass in hand, in front of a backline of Marshall amps and cabs, a modified Super Bass 100W - emblazoned with Murder One - in pride of place.
The legends Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page used the Super Bass 100W, but Lemmy made it legendary. Now, this rare rig is available for the first time in plugin form as a Softube exclusive. Marshall Murder One Lemmy Signature is a precise emulation of the rebel rocker's original amp and custom cabs. The embodiment of heavy metal history, it's perfectly suited for rock & roll and punk rock sounds for both bass and guitar. Softube Murder One. It's built to win.
Rock Out
At his Maple Sound Studios in California, Motörhead's Grammy Award-winning producer Cameron Webb captured the precise cabinet setup Lemmy used in-house and on the road: a Marshall MF280L 4x12 ′′ and a Marshall 1979L 4x15 ′′. Murder One’s faders each represent a cabinet and the microphone selectors for the cabinets. You can blow out your guitar tones with the oversized 4x15 ′′ cab. Or mix and match microphones for the perfect setup.

Acoustic Feedback
Amp Simulator by Softube
Images
Description
Screaming guitar feedback in the box! Release your inner beast with the first realistic guitar feedback simulator on the market. Go from moderate and subtle to rampant and wild by the twist of a knob (or two). To break new musical ground, try inputting a synthesizer, a violin, or even your mother's grand piano.
![]()
One thing that is really hard to achieve with a guitar amplifier simulation plug-in or hardware is the interaction in a room between the guitar and an amplifier turned up loud. Enter Acoustic Feedback - because this plug-in does precisely that. Whether you just want single notes to keep hanging a little longer and gently fade to sustained feedback or you want instant and rampant howls for your noise rock, Acoustic Feedback is your friend.
Acoustic Feedback comes bundled with a limited version of the White amp from Vintage Amp Room.

Solidus Randy 250
Amp Simulator by Audiority
Images
Description
Two Metal Legends in a Single Amp Simulation
Solidus Randy 250 is an analogue simulation of the Randall® RG100ES (late ‘80s) and RH150 (late ‘00s) solid-state amplifiers.
The RG100ES head, produced in the late 80s, has been a remarkable amplifier that defined the sound of some of the greatest metal bands of that time, while the RH150 is a more modern rendition with much more gain. Both amplifiers are renowned for their huge low end and crushing gain.
Audiority carefully modelled the original amplifier and added some goodies to further shape your guitar tone: a noise gate, a modern overdrive, a couple EQs (6 Band Graphic EQ + a 3 Band Parametric), a post-amp 5 band EQ and a Dual Cab Loader.
Integrated cabinets provided by Dr Bonkers Sound Lab, Eddie Scharr, Redwirez and Seacow Cabs.
